The pull out shelves also carry a limited lifetime guarantee; they are made from 5/8" solid closed-grain hardwood, using dovetailed joinery; and the bottoms are ¼" plywood, fully captive within sides and ends. This closed-grain renewable hardwood is environmentally friendly with a dense grain for increased stability and durability.
The finish is hand-applied, sealed, and given an oven-baked topcoat of catalyzed varnish for lasting durability.
